Understand the IEP before the Meeting

It’s the time of year for IEPs.  Too many times, parents sign plans without fully understanding.  Do your homework before the meetings to understand the process of the meeting and some of the language.  When you have questions, ASK!  Don’t be this couple, overwhelmed and not asking questions.  Parents should be involved in this process, not merely signing the documents.  Here are some articles on School Psychologist Files about the IEP (Individualized Education Plan.)
